The magic is in the presentation, the package and the people.

When you have those 3 things dialed in, your entire business will transform.

There’s a lot of people who ask me what the secret sauce is, and how they can make people WANT to become their clients. My answer is really the same every time, no matter what business someone has:

Dial in your package (what you’re actually selling).

Dial in your people (who you’re focused on helping).

Dial in your presentation (how amazing it looks).

To give you a real example, let’s look at a basic coaching business. We’ll call our girl Jeanine, because it sounds cool. Let’s say that Jeanine is selling personal training via individual sessions with people who go to the cheapest gym in the area. Right now she’s using a geocities website (yeah, I know) and offering discounts (ew) just to try and get people to buy one session.

Congratulations Jeanine, you’ve just guaranteed that you’ll stay broke forever. *clap*

Now let’s transform her whole business and give Jeanine a good framework to use.

First, we’ll change up her service itself. Instead of sessions, let’s say she makes a package - now in order to work with her, you *need* to pay $3,000 for this package. Whether you show up or not, whether you quit midway through or not, Jeanine gets paid either way.

Next, we’ll work on the people. Instead of getting people at the cheapest gym in town, now we’ll have Jeanine look for clients at the most expensive gym. The fancy schmancy place with the cucumber water and the free towels. Now she doesn’t need to wonder if people can pay her, because THEY HAVE THE MONEY!

Lastly, we’ll level up her presentation. We’ll give Jeanine’s website an overhaul. No more geocities nonsense that makes you feel like a relic from a bygone era. We’ll make something sleek. Something that feels good to use and tells you everything you need to know about her.

Boom. Business transformed.

Now in practice, it’s not quite as easy as I make it seem here. It takes time to understand and implement these things. It takes time to build your package, figure out who your best customers really are, and to put together a great presentation.

Despite what you may hear from every broke business coach, not everyone can do it. It takes a special level of dedication, and the willingness to change your business for the better. You’ll never really be ready, but as long as you’re determined you’ll be able to build the business of your dreams.
